October 4th - October 26th (during regular hours)

  • "Slavery in St. Louis" traveling exhibit from the U.S. National Park Service Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. This exhibit aims to connect the growth of slavery with the political, economic, and social history of the Gateway to the West during the 18th and 19th centuries. Using primary sources, individual stories of enslavement, and historical artifacts, this exhibit helps us connect with our city’s complicated history with slavery and how it has been remembered (and misremembered) in the present.
